Metallica ride the lightning 20161/6/2023 creeping death is a whopper of a song and the last jam is so sinister and mystical at the same time ending with a crashing sound that will scare you. trapped under ice is fast and escape well hee hee sounds like a pop metal song poison would have done but its nice. The album was recorded in three weeks with producer Flemming Rasmussen at Sweet Silence Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark. too dark and evil for a ballad but better than sappy faced crap like every rose or any ballad in that decade. Ride the Lightning is the second studio album by American heavy metal band Metallica, released on July 27, 1984, by the independent record label Megaforce Records. ride the lightning is the story of the criminal sent to death is so damn scary! for whom the bell tolls is killer and i heard it in a college football game somewhere. fight fire with fire is electrifying with at first soft guitar and then BAM!! loud riffs howling vocals and more dark stuff. Im not trying to be corny or stupid but if paranoid is the metal album to end all metal albums then this is one tough hardcore loud metal album and one that invented speed metal if im not mistaken. It gets a bit boring halfway through, but theres a really great solo, and ends the album very nicely. Creeping Death is one of Metallicas greatest concept songs ever as well, written in the pint of view of Moses last plague that kills the first born son.who else would write about that? The Call Of Ktulu is a beautiful instrumental. Escape doesnt have one of my favorite riffs but has some great anti-authority lyrics. Trapped Under Ice is a sensational metaphorical headbanger. Fade To Black is one of Metallicas most heartfelt songs, and one of their best. For Whom The Bell Tolls is a great war commentary. metallica ride the lightning (remastered 2016) RIDE THE LIGHTNING (REMASTERED 2016) LP 28,99 aktuell nicht auf Lager Lieferung in Deutschland in 12-14 Werktagen soweit verfügbar beim Lieferanten Preis inkl. Ride The Lightnings riff does not seem very impressive to me, but it is an absolutely amazing concept song thats up there almost near One but still falls very short. Not one of their greater first tracks, but still a favorite. Fight Fire With Fire is mad crazy with shredding guitars and deathly black lyrics. Anyway, it just serves as a distraction for whats coming. The acoustic intro seemed slightly childish when I first heard it, and holds nothing to the Battery intro, but it grew on me. In fact, this album is just purely amazing, and in my opinion, their second best. When stood up against Metallicas other albums, I view this one as the weakling that sits in the corner that has great potential. If you like your music heavy, fast, loud, and littered with talented musicians and epic vocals, this is your album.
